Summer Reading Challenge 2024

Why should the kids have all the fun with summer reading? This July and August we are challenging our adult Boonton readers to read voraciously and widely! Below are 10 themes with links to suggested titles. Participants can pick up a scorecard at the library or print one from this link.

The official start date of the Challenge is June 22, but the scorecards are available at the library now. Raffle tickets will become available on the 22nd.

The Summer Reading Challenge is restricted to Boonton residents and library cardholders ages 17 and up.

Readers will receive a raffle ticket to drop off at the library for every book they read in any of the 10 categories. The more you read, the more chances of winning.

The Summer Reading Challenge ends on Friday, August 30, with a drawing for 3 prize baskets, each valued at approximately $100:

  • Date Night — Gift cards to Boonton Eateries
  • Cook’s Delight — Boontonware and more!
  • City Adventure — Tickets to the American Museum of Natural History and VISA gift card
